Useful information
From the port of Piraeus you can come to Sifnos by ferry boat or by high speed boat. The trip lasts 3-6 hours (depending on the type of boat and on the in-between stops).
Sifnos is also connected by boat with many other islands of the Cyclades (Paros, Syros, Santorini, Andros, Folegandros etc.), as well as with Crete via Milos. The frequency of the sea transportation depends on the season.
Because of the mountainous terrain of the island, there is no airport in Sifnos. The closest airports are situated in Milos, in Paros and in Santorini and from there, you can get to Sifnos by boat.
